GoldTri Compilation Volume 1 Reviews

Here's some reviews from the Internet of Synthetic Block's track Swell and Slack:

"Starts a bit messily with sounds appearing all round the stereo field, but things soon focus together until all that’s left is sequencer. 'Bicycle spoke' percussion. Hard-sync lead plays a couple of licks, then the real percussion starts. Stringy polysynth plays a gentle lead line while the sequencer does interesting things. Not quite sure why I like this track so much."

"Ah, like this track. Especially when sequencers and drums start. Nice changes in drums, it just flows. He’s right about the title progressive ambient, I think that fits it very nicely. Could have come straight from the FAX label. Bit more development would be nice, but it probably doesn't fit with this track."

"Funky ambient metallic techno tune... er... this song belongs in a chase scene involving Mitch Buchanan's feet speeding over sand whilst chasing some hot busty babe. I liked it though because I'm a soundtrack fiend... and if it can work in film, which this tune could, it can work while I’m driving my car. This song is a lot different than the boring Berlin School stuff that’s rampant and that’s perfectly fine with me."
